Surface treatments of metals

Among its complementary processing services, LAM also carries out surface treatments, such as burnishing, zinc phosphating, nickel plating, galvanizing, chromating, chrome plating, passivation, anodizing (natural, black, red and blue) and hard anodizing.

With these treatments, precision mechanical components acquire particular aesthetic and physical characteristics, such as greater resistance to corrosion, which make them suitable for even the most complex industrial applications.

Metal heat treatments

LAM carries out heat treatments to provide certain mechanical characteristics that further improve quality, hardness, workability and resistance to stress of mechanical parts.

Specifically we deal with: reclamation, CTR (cementation), T.R. (oil quenching and tempering), T.I. (induction hardening), nitriding and distension.

Deep drilling operations

LAM performs deep drilling operations with the help of certified and specialized external partners, who are able to make holes of variable length and guarantee tight tolerances.

Thick chrome plating of metals

In addition to the standard services, LAM also offer to its customers thick chrome plating, for metal surface treatments. The chrome-plating coating increases the resistance to stress, wear and corrosion of metal components, making them more performing and durable.

EDM machining operations

LAM carries out wire and plunge EDM machining on metal materials, to create mechanical components of any geometric shape, not achievable with other processes, and always guarantee a high degree of precision.
